Born in Namibia, the award-winning storyteller grew up with a fascination for wildlife, natural healing and art. Her first poem was published when she was twelve. Her studies – including an advanced degree in Paris (France) and Düsseldorf (Germany) – led to twenty-five exciting years as filmmaker and screenplay writer for the European Film & TV industry.
Missing Africa’s sunshine, magic and music, she returned to live in nature again with the whole world at her email doorstep. She is a passionate gardener and photographer. She lives in Noordhoek, South Africa, with one husband, two spoilt cats, and the world’s most curious Cape cobra who occasionally coils in her paper basket pretending she’s not there.
THE IMMORTAL LIFE OF PIU PIU
A Magical Journey Exploring the Mystery of Life after Death
Set in the magic of shifting realism – the Western Cape coast of South Africa, between Nature’s paradise and a ruthless world – and based on the true love story of a human-animal relationship, this magical journey reveals how one powerful young girl with her enigmatic cat and the wild beasts who are her constant guides, join in a fantasy adventure to reveal the mystery of life after death.
In essence a mystery based on a true love story that reaches beyond the barriers of time and space, this metaphysical novel is one of those books that you don’t just like, but that are deeply meaningful to you – visionary books you love, keep and pass on to your young adult kids (as of age 12 – 14).
As you follow the hero’s journey of self-discovery, spiritual awakening, personal transformation and healing, discover how your feelings are the key to your eternal soul:
‘What you are not the vibration of remains invisible to you.’
A natural born leader who joins forces with wild creatures for the ultimate adventure: to unlock the mystery of the invisible world.
