Stage Fear
When watching the amazing Video about even more amazing Susan Boyle at her first appearance on stage before a large public audience – her dream since she was 12 years old – I remembered my own first experience … and the shock when I had my first dramatic and sweat-raising encounter with a microphone … right there and then when the whole world was watching!
Those were my feelings when doing the above rapid sketch!
Today, microphones are just cold coffee, however, stage fright is still real and even the best and most experienced actors and public speakers are haunted by it.
Tomorrow, I’ll sketch Susan Boyle’s first appearance… for sure a different “line” – let’s see!
