Semantic Art conquers Google
Cape Town, 23 April 2009 – by Bianca Gubalke

“Ich weiss nicht, was soll es bedeuten. . .” on this significant day during South Africa’s Elections 2009… :

Heavy thunderstorms… in a day-for-night scenario with zigzagging lightning making my UPS scream…

The first real and long-awaited rains… with a river trickling into my dried-up dam to be instantly absorbed by the crackled aching earth…

A mysterious silent world emerging here and there within the thick mist rising from the steaming ground to embrace the misty clouds drooping from the sky… just leaving a fine trace of gold and pink reminding of the light that’s always shining on the beautiful Cape of Good Hope… even and especially on a day like this.

And yes… the occasional trumpeting of a group of hadidas or wild Egyptian geese watching this spectacle with great anticipation from my roof… and the distant cry of a wild peacock…

Having finally found my way back online - for how long I do not know – and seeing hectic movement on Google under the targeted keyword “Semantic Art”, I feel inspired to shoot a little bit of  SEMANTIC RED… of  SEMANTIC POWER.. of  SEMANTIC ENERGY into the general Art frenzy with yet another version on “Brenda’s World” by Bianca Gubalke:

By now Brenda Baker must be wondering who she is… how Rural her Living has become and how her Rural Style has changed?

Livinrural or not… the potential of a spontaneous sketch prooves to be endless. . .

See, it’s all a matter of our “Secret Garden”… the foundation for our understanding and progress especially in view of the coming Ycademy Seminar, this weekend!

To be continued. . .
