Stock Photo Seagull on Beach
My quick Stock Photo Seagull on Beach version for today’s exercise about Learning how to prepare photo and media material for Photo Media Stock.
Cleaning in the sea area, a bit of toning, contrast and levels – but minimal – and a personal touch to enhance the expression. I could have cleaned the sand areas as well… theoretically. But I think that’s taking it a bit too far. Unless I’m wrong…
Also, I endeavoured to keep the colors ‘beachwise’ – as close to the original (see at the bottom) as possible. The nose holes in the beak allow a good look-through when enlarged… just a detail but it adds lightness.
Stock Photo Seagull on Beach
Probably not the right version for a Stock Photo Seagull on the Beach version of the original seagull, however my personal preference. But then I just switched the Stock Photo provider’s cap with the Photo Stock buyer’s cap – the person wanting sharp, clean raw material to manipulate for or integrate within a specific project.
Here I used a photographic filter to add a bit of glam… it immediately gives it a very different expression.
But again… that’s my artist’s interpretation and research… so the other cap again. But what the heck – I have worn that all my life and I love it!
Below the original “Stock Photo Seagull on Beach” Photo the exercise is based on.
