Book Trailer

“Use your wings and fly, no matter what others say!”

Quote from ‘BORN WITH WINGS – The Immortal Life of Piu Piu”

ABOUT THIS NOVEL

Who am I? Where do I come from? Why do I live this life? Where do I go when I die?

BORN WITH WINGS dives into the mystery of existence by drawing us into a space without boundaries, without fear or pretense, a universe where we know who we are and have free choice to create and explore. It is here that Anata decides upon an unusual new life adventure, but when she literally falls from heaven to earth at the feet of an inquisitive African child called Pippa, and their journey together begins, her memories disappear.

First, life is happiness. It seems like a dream – until she awakes, locking eyes with her enemy, Charlot, who makes the gruesome pledge to take her life before she turns three.

Suddenly, time is limited. Fear tells her there’s no escape – but her intuition says there is . . .

Each life is a leap of faith. You leave home and you venture into the Unknown. And while you discover a world brimming with darkness and light, you realize who you are. This is your only chance: what you are the vibration of, appears; the rest remains unseen.

“Would you be afraid if there were nothing to fear?

BIANCA GUBALKE AUTHOR BIO

Bianca Gubalke is an award-winning storyteller and artist, a certified translator, teacher, passionate gardener and metaphysics student.

Born in Namibia, she grew up with a fascination for wildlife, natural healing and art. Her first poem was published when she was twelve. Her studies – including an advanced degree in France and Germany – led to twenty-five exciting years as filmmaker and screenplay writer for the European Film & TV industry. One of a number of awards she won included a screenplay-writing workshop with Inga Karetnikova, a film historian, author and film writing consultant in Boston, USA, and filmmaker Krzysztof Kieslowski, Poland.

Missing Africa’s sunshine, magic and music, she returned to live in nature again with the whole world at her email doorstep. Over the past few years, she co-authored a number of educational books for a German publisher, and completed her magical realism novel, ‘BORN WITH WINGS – The Immortal Life of Piu Piu’, Book 1 in the  ‘Dance Between Worlds’ series. She is currently working on Book 2.

She lives in Noordhoek, South Africa, with her husband, at least two cats, and the world’s most curious Cape cobra who occasionally coils in her paper basket pretending she’s not there.

“What you are the vibration of, appears.”
