Antiaging Tips (Antiageing Tips)
Boost your Immune System
Antiaging and Exercise
In our recent articles we explained the important relationship between Antiaging and Exercise and how the Exercise Benefits themselves have a direct impact when it comes to Boost your Immune System.
Antiaging and Sleep
Another important factor to look and feel years younger is Sleep – its quantity and its quality – of which the so-called “Delta Sleep” is what makes all the difference, especially when we wake up. We feel it immediately and it will influence and determine our focus, overall performance and sense of wellbeing during the day.
We looked into “Antiaging and Sleep” in yesterday’s post and again it all boils down to keeping the Immune System healthy and strong.
“Longevity with a Strong Immune System” is key.
But there are more factors… and without going into how detrimental Smoking is to your health, as everyone knows about this… and if you’re a smoker you should take a daily shower of fresh carrot juice from inside to get as much Vitamin A as possible into your system… here we are hitting another important Chapter when it comes to overall Health and Fitness and the Prevention of age-related diseases:
Healthy Eating
The Internet abounds in professional advice when it comes to Healthy Eating.
I’m not a dietician nor a doctor, but “Alternative Healing” has always been one of my main interests and I studied and practiced certain aspects of this vast and highly interesting field.
Clearly, Healthy Nutrition is the foundation for our general wellbeing, it radiates outer Beauty from within and it slows down the aging process.
My dad’s father was a doctor and this is what he taught me as a kid:
1. Watch what goes in
2. Watch what goes out
3. Have enough exercise in fresh air
4. Get enough quality Sleep
5. Don’t run to the doctor with everything!
I always smile when remembering the last point; it was so typical for him! And what worked 50 years ago still counts today. Besides, if we look at all the toxins that go into prepared foods – and this in an officially approved way – eating healthy, fresh and especially natural foods is in my view more important today than ever – especially when it comes to protecting our Immune System.
What do I mean?
Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables – ideally raw – each day to Boost your Immune System with lots of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and immune-boosting substances known as phytochemicals, which help protect you against disease.
The best is to eat them raw to preserve the nutrient content and for rapid absorption.
You are normally told to eat a minimum of 5 servings a day – but in our hectic work environment our mind is not focused on our regular intake of healthy foods… in fact, we may be rather inclined to get something fast and easy… and that normally means fats, salts and sugars – exactly the opposite of what we need. Outsch!
So what’s the solution?
Fresh Juices
I love Fresh Juices – and the emphasis is on “fresh”!
Besides, they seem to work as when a doctor supervising your detox program tells you “You are perfectly clean – I don’t need to see you again – at least not during this lifetime” then things seem pretty OK, don’t they?
While I believe in regular small meals – one of them freshly cooked each day – my quick lunch is in most cases a Fresh Juice that includes all those essential fresh fruit and veggies I am supposed to provide my system with each day. You’d agree that we can drink far more juice than eating the whole fruit or vegetable equivalent and thus we get the full blast of concentrated amounts of nutrients, right away.
Drink your Fresh Juice immediately! The fresher the juice you drink, the more nutrients you will derive from it – it’s an instant Energy Booster!
All it needs is a juicer and fruits and veggies of the season. Plus some herbs and spices if you like!
Important: Make sure you buy your produce from a good source… and then wash everything carefully. Personally I put it all for 10 minutes into a bowl of pure H2O water with a drop of HCL 5% – and cut away mushy or mouldy parts. I will write an article on “Moulds” soon as it’s very important when it comes to our health.
My favourite “Smoothie” is a mix of 4-5 big carrots, 1 apple, 1 orange and 1 lemon fresh from my trees… and a piece of fresh ginger.
YUMMIE! Nothing better as a Vitamin A source, besides the rest of it!
You feel the impact immediately!
And that’s not all: I have very little waste in my house as what we don’t eat goes onto the compost and is turned into good nutrient-rich gardenening soil over time.
However, it didn’t seem right to throw away the rich pulp remaining in the juicer! So what I do is mix the whole lot into a basic chocolate or muffin preparation and put it into the (pre-heated) oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
You won’t even believe how delicious these homemade muffins smell and taste, especially with a fresh and fragrant cup of coffee! There just seem to be little mice invading the kitchen and they disappear like magic! Even MadMax, my cat, loves them!
Health Benefits of Fresh Juice
You may want to make targeted searches on Google concerning your favourite combination, however the “Health Benefits of Fresh Juice” are just obvious!
Here are a few examples:
Cleansing your System and giving it a Boost: Carrot, Apple and Ginger
Better Skin Complexion: Apple, Kiwi and Cucumber OR Apple, Carrot and Tomato OR Cucumber,, Orange and Ginger
Reduce Cholesterol, helping with headaches or an upset stomach: Apple, Cucumber and Celery
Dispel excess salts and good for kidneys and bladder: Apple, Pineapple and Watermelon
Counteracting toxicity and clears body heat: Apple, carrot, Pear and Mango
Regulating sugar content: Banana and Pear.
And there are many others… and you could add milk if you like to turn it into a fruit shake and obtain even more benefits.
On a final note: personally I stay away from packaged or bottled juices alltogether; I like it fresh and juicy – the ‘real’ instant and especially fresh solution. I neither trust the packaging of juices, nor the containers, nor the preservation… nor what goes into the juice itself – not to speak of how long it takes from the tree… onto the shelf in the supermarket… and from there into my body.
I prefer to “…see and control what goes in…” as my grandfather taught me: fresh from the market or even the tree in the garden, clean and with instant satisfaction. While not everyone has a garden, everyone has access to fruit and veggies of the season – no need for anything else.
There’s nothing better to Boost your Immune System than the Health Benefits of Fresh Juice.
I am very aware that we only touched on a very small area of “Healthy Eating” – there’s much more to talk about, however, fresh fruit and vegetables are in my view the most important energy boosters and protectors of our Immune System.

Though most people tell me that it is better if you take a fresh fruit instead of juice, I have personally preferred the juice over everything else. Face it, when you are looking for a break from your work, who washes/cleans/De seeds grapes or pomegranates? Isn’t it just more convenient to grab hold of a can of juice?
Hi Puala,
thanks for commenting. Fresh fruit is always fine – absolutely, however, you can hardly eat the equivalent of nutrients, vitamins, minerals etc you get with a large glass of fresh juice! One doesn’t exclude the other!
I have been hearing a lot on juicing and I even found one at a local garage sale! It is a little dirty though which makes me apprehensive. Anyway- our family has really changed the way we live, think and feel about healthy whole foods and eliminating processed stuff! Our son was helped greatly with his food allergies and Eczema from taking Vidazorb probiotics for kids and it has completely changed our lives for the better! Thanks for the great info here on this…I can’t wait to start!
