Monkey Valley Beach Nature Resort
Say you are a Web Designer and sitting at Monkey Valley Beach Nature Resort with your laptop, sipping a cool drink on the ‘tree-tops’ deck overlooking 8 km of white, unspoilt Noordhoek Beach with the turquoise waves of the Atlantic Ocean rolling softly over it… and you meet someone who’s getting intrigued by what you are doing and you start a conversation on Websites, Blogs and the importance of marketing one’s website online if one has a product or service to sell – what would you answer if being asked:
Can you set up a website like that for me?
What do they actually want? What do they expect?
Do they realize that delivering Web Services of this kind is a complex profession plus an ongoing activity? And what are they willing to invest?
Marketing Monkey Valley Beach
Over the past week I did a test on basically Marketing Monkey Valley Beach Nature Resort that you may have followed with some interest.
My goal was reached when I saw us on Google Top 10 even on this complex and highly defended keyword – which I will show you in a minute via a Google screenshot.
My only interest here was to show the importance of understanding that such a performance and result cannot be achieved without equipping ourselves with the right website. We won’t get there with ‘normal’ – meaning no-cost – means and I would never recommend this to any business-oriented person who has the desire to expand into the online Web2.0 environment and participate in the race to Google Top 10.
Clearly, an attractive site alone doesn’t do the trick anymore – although it’s very important as well. But I will talk about this later.
Semiomantics Scripts
We need to bear in mind that we cannot compete with large entities like for instance CNN where posts flow in every minute providing dynamic and well targeted content for optimal positioning.
Also, today we can no longer compete with large companies investing thousands if not millions in Google Ads – prices have sky-rocketed and if on a limited budget and without ongoing expert keyword research (at an ongoing cost as well) one doesn’t really have a chance.
However, the Internet is the big equalizer and there is a way that allows us to give ourselves the means to compete with the best out there – even large companies. It means that if we have the right tool that ensures that people with an urgent need and their Credit Card between their teeth find us on Google Top 10 – as that’s where they look under the corresponding keywords – and if what they find attracts them and creates empathy and the reflex to buy – then we have exactly what we need: Traffic, meaning Visitors, meaning potential Customers, meaning Sales.
We are proving over and over again that these results can be reached with Semiomantics Scripts – in combination with the right setup and ongoing maintenance – which is normal – and regular original content – well and appealingly edited and published. It’s what allows us to tune our own racing horse and reap rewards on Google. It’s a wise and well-priced investment.
Social Media Services
Additionally, we have to include Social Media today.
Social Networks may offer everything for ‘free’, however, Social Networks promote Social Networks, that’s their interest. They basically live off our Blogs and Publishing activities; without these they wouldn’t exist.
Besides, they all have a smart setup that’s not that simple and innocent as it may appear. Don’t forget, it’s all about your identity, your name, your pictures, your content that you basically throw into the common pool to be fished from – so it’s to be taken serious. Without the right guidance, understanding and knowledge when it comes to setting up an account where our Privacy is protected – as far as this is possible at all on the internet – one can easily make mistakes with unwanted and unerasable consequences, and it’s easy to become the target.
This is why the current Ycademy Seminar (November 2009) focuses on providing all participants with what it needs to understand the benefits and dangers of social network environments on say Facebook, Twitter, Picasa or up-and-coming google Wave – and to profit from them.
Whether it’s “Monkey Valley Beach Nature Resort” of any other name or company with a professional identity and purpose on the Internet: unless one has the time and passion to sit and chat on Social Networks all day long – as many companies do with specifically employed staff – it’s important to include and budget for Social Media Services right from the beginning.
To be continued. . .
