Today, I had several talks with people I haven’t seen for a while and they all wondered what we were doing and how things were going. Well -this made me look back with some real amazement…:
The fact is that we have not missed a single LIVE call in yorGOtalk ever… and that’s Mondays to Fridays at 9 pm London time (although Friday WebMaster Trainings start an hour earlier).
The fact is that we have not missed a single YCADEMY Call on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The fact is that our monthly YCADEMY Business Building Seminars have never been more sophisticated and we see the impact on all the serious Seminar participants. Impact in terms of Personal Development and Authority and Sales. Yes, online sales… people are making money online with their OWN business. At last!
The next YCADEMY Seminar will be over the last weekend this month, 29 and 30 August 2009 – all online, all recorded… and focusing on the Author’s Blog – a most crucial aspect of our Online Business when it comes to building Authority and preparing original content for our various blogs, eg. YORGOO Press, NewsCast, YORGOO Media, YORGOO Blasters and YORGOO Boosters.

Over the years, we have gone through a vast array of Semiomantics Scripts that all have certain similarities and… differences. We therefore used this week’s YCADEMY Training to set up a brand-new YORGOO Blaster from scratch… meaning each participant would do so within the hour we had at our disposal…
And the result?
Lo and behold! we had brilliant examples… like our “YORGOO Blaster for Online Tax Filing”… first for Nebraska and quickly followed by Mississippi Online Tax Filing!!! Our tax expert from Florence, Alabama – Larrie Perkins – who never missed a single Ycademy Seminar – just went wild in applying what he had learned… and it was quite a steep learning process at times, wasn’t it, Larrie?

Creating Web Graphics – Tips
First of all BRAVO LARRIE for coming up with a quick solution within the given time… and following up with the next one the very next day. Great to include the TwitThisClick banner; especially as meanwhile we’ve added the Twitter Tools Plugin by Alex King to make our YORGOO Blasters even more efficient on Social Networks like Twitter.
What I would work on here is the Taxmart Online Filing Banner – noone can read the small text… and you have sufficient space to really ATTRACT and IMPACT with your message.
Secondly, “Where’s My Refund?” is an excellent slogan – but play a little bit with bigger fonts as you have the space – so be generous and do different versions, ideally mathcing the colours in the bird graphic. Then let’s all look at them and choose the best. You rarely hit it with the first shot, it’s always a matter of trying and comparing until we are satisfied.
Yes… attractive Web Graphics do take time! However, as with anything in life: the more you do, the better and quicker you get!
Third point is a minor one, however, if you keep using the TwitThisClick Banner and the Header Banner, try to match the REDs! Also make sure that “Online Tax Mart” is sharp and brisk… it may be the screenshot or the graphic or my eyes lol, I don’t know. Please check – as you are using this header for various occasions, it should be sharppppppppp!
But great overall progress and certainly the absolutely correct step to drive your Online Tax Filing Business through the virtual roof… powered by Customer Satisfaction… and on YORGOO Blasters – what else!
