Communication through Social Networks

Why  Social Networks?

This weekend’s YCADEMY July Seminar 2009 was another milestone when it comes to Marketing on the Internet.

As in real life, it’s all a numbers’ game and a matter of profile, trust and personal relationships – provided the product or service is good and in demand of course. Which means, that we have to bring our offers in front of people in a customer-oriented and visually attractive way – and this ahead of the fiercely growing competition – … and that we go where today’s crowds hang out… which today are the big Social Networks.

Socializing on Social Networks

The question is: who has the inclination, time or enthusiasm to go there?

Meaning who can afford to be Socializing on Social Networks when our lives are already pretty hectic and our time spent online is not always finding positive support as family and friends are calling and pulling at you from all ends?

There has to be a smart way to be there without being there… to have a pleasant, professional  yet automated presence… and to benefit from the marketing opportunity these immense online networks offer?

Social Networking like Barack Obama

Think Obama – Barack Obama!

What did he do?

I mean before he became the President of the United States?

And what is he doing now?

Learn from what Leaders DO… not what they might be telling you to do!

It all starts with a clear Goal.

Obama wanted to become the President of the USA… and to do so, he needed the support of the masses – offline AND especially online.

He ran his e-campaign in an exemplary way that we can all learn from.

What is your Niche… your Keyword Niche?

Think about it, we are all in the same boat when it comes to the basic idea: while we hardly want to become a state president, we may want to become known and respected as for example…

~ the top tax expert in Alabama like Larrie Perkins,
~ the coolest shop for Kicks in London like Global Sports,
~ the Garden Route Tourism authority “Lalakoi” alias Hanno Coetzee,
~ the expert when it comes to Culture, Events and Tourism in the Auvergne, France, like Laetitia Paris,
~ a reliable address when it comes to specialized Niche Sites like Boruch Rappaport,
~ an enthusiastic Health and Fitness authority like Ute Schaedler,
~ the finest and most honorable autoparts dealer in the USA, Gene Line… or
~ the top address and artist when it comes to Digital Art…. that’s me, one day :)

Just to name a few that come to my mind immediately.

We have to think about the meaning, the implications and the means we are prepared to give ourselves. If we are scared away as it’s something we don’t feel we want to do for the rest of our lives, we are on the wrong path. It’s either Love or Fear – one excludes the other. So keep searching.

From experience I know that once the goal hits passion… the search is over, instantly… and once the focus is clear even the means roll in. They just simply appear in wondrous ways as we are aligned with Purpose, we are in synch within and we love what we do or where we’re going. However, until that point it may be a tedious and painful process… yet it’s essential for any form of success – including financial success with a longterm vision… and most people never even start this path ever in their lives.

In Ycademy we do… and as we see, each and every participant is evolving at his or her own speed and rhythm on this exciting “Path to Profitability”… learning how to dance with the Internet wolves !!!

Social Network Publishing

Next comes the vehicle to get the message out – and this in the right and Google efficient way… and, as we have to adapt to trends and mass surges on the Internet… today this also means Social Network efficient.

For Ycademy Seminar participants this meant a switch from YORGOO Press (elaborated and set up in the Ycademy May 2009 Seminar) to NewsCast – which is basically still the same brilliant Semiomantics Script, but masterfully tweaked and adapted to purpose by Internet GRizzard Yorgo Nestoridis.

YORGOO Press owners can switch from one theme to another from their back office without losing any data… and that’s not all… here comes the important point:

How to Profit from  Social Networks

On NewsCast we Twitter and Tweet for Traffic…

We integrated Social Networks like Twitter in a smart, correct and totally clean way – offering value to followers in Twitter within our targeted niche while profiting from responsive and interested Twitter-ers who like our form of Social Network Advertising and follow us to our NewsCast, to our Blogs, Blasters, Boosters and to our Salespage… And all this in a rather automated way once the basic work is done!

The more people see your offers, products, services… the bigger the chance you get into business and make money via Social Networks. As simple as that!

Follow… and be followed – that’s the motto. That’s the Tweet.

As said in the beginning and to close the circle: making money online is a numbers’ game… and the numbers today are on Social Networks – besides Google of course. We may never neglect our focus on Google Top 10 when it comes to generating visibility and traffic for ourtargeted Niche Keywords… however, when we want to attack the largest masses online, we’ve got to go for them in “Obama-for-President style!”
