Like in any other country, Newspapers from South Africa abound, even online. Or especially, as the list of renowned South African Newspapers is long when doing a research on Google.
To stay ahead of the crowd or at least amongst the top players… and this with a constantly changing Internet, the integration of new technology and faster media streaming, it is crucial to look at one’s Online Publication with another perspective and see how well it does with such stiff competition and in view of the future. This is why the ‘old’ YORGOO Press – as you see it below in a real oldtimer version, went back into the Semiomantics Workshop and will come to live again at the Ycademy Seminar this coming weekend: newly tuned, adapted to the current virtual and media-oriented environment and very aggressive in terms of search engine optimization.

To give you the idea, let’s look how my article “Online Newspapers South Africa” did on Google Top 10…
Actually, when I saw the News competition, I thought “arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!” 12,100,000 of them hammered the few first pages on Google… see HERE. Given the fact that there’s no bigger abundance of regular News than in an official Newspaper – meaning it keeps coming in hard and clear all the time: content content content… which is the Google spider’s favourite to feast on… I didn’t think I’d have a chance… actually, I went to the beach!
Coming back from the beach after 2 hours with a fresh amazone spirit, I took a look… and WOW!… the article I wrote on my Author Blog on Semiomantics XO made it to page 2 already – and that’s before our Online Publishing Network even picked it up! How about that?
