Announcing our new blog “Noordhoek Art” – all about the Noordhoek Arts and Culture scene!

Noordhoek Art Route

Noordhoek, the Conservation Village 35 kms South of Cape Town, South Africa, has a rich cultural life with many producing artists, painters, potters… just to name a few. This includes artists of international rank who prefer to live a quiet and undisturbed country lifestyle within big spaces of light and air to focus fully on their Artwork.

Once a month, Noordhoek artists open up their ateliers and studios along the “Noordhoek Art Route” to the public as an invitation to meet the artist personally in a relaxed atmosphere, have a tea or coffee, chat or discuss the Artwork – and buy.

Noordhoek Art Studio

Whoever misses the Open Sunday, can always visit the active Art Studio in the Noordhoek Farmhouse Village and see the artists at work… painting within their own exhibition center – like in the times of the Impressionists in France.

Brief: the Noordhoek Art Blog will report on the vibrant activities within the Noordhoek Culture Scene focusing on Noordhoek Arts and Noordhoek Artists.
